Local-only app

Pulse has no account, backend, ads, analytics, cloud sync, or subscription. Saved readings stay on your device.

What Pulse stores

Pulse stores saved readings on your device:

Pulse also keeps up to five aggregate measurement diagnostics on your device, such as duration, frame cadence, quality gates, and failure reason. Diagnostics do not contain candidate BPM values, raw samples, or a signal time series.

Camera permission

Pulse asks for camera access so supported devices can estimate a pulse and related wellness signals from fingertip light changes over the rear camera and torch. Pulse does not save photos, videos, raw camera frames, camera buffers, or camera media.

Delete data

You can delete saved readings and aggregate measurement diagnostics together from Settings. Removing the app also removes local Pulse data managed by the app.
