Nothing leaves the app.
VocabRot is built to work without an account and without collecting personal data. This policy applies to the current VocabRot iPhone app.
At a glance
VocabRot does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking, and it makes no network calls.
- No account or sign-in
- No personal data collection
- No ads, analytics, or cross-app tracking
- No app-operated servers or data uploads
Learning progress
Lesson progress and review timing are stored locally on your device. VocabRot does not upload this information. Deleting the app removes its locally stored app data, subject to the device’s normal backup and restore behavior.
There is no VocabRot account, cloud sync, or server-side copy of your learning history in the current release.
Audio and images
Pronunciation, mnemonic audio, and illustrations are bundled with the app. Playing them does not send a recording, identifier, or any other user data to a remote service.
Children
Because VocabRot does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes and questions
If a future version changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
